It’s Official: Vijay Not to Croon in Rahman’s Music for New Film!

Contrary to rumours which appeared in sections of media a couple of days back, actor Vijay won’t be crooning any song in his upcoming untitled film which is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and which would have music by A.R. Rahman.

Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are the two heroines in the untitled film whose shoot commenced some time back. In what might irk those on strike in Kollywood, the shoot of Vijay’s film has been going on in Chennai (at Vijay’s favourite shooting spot of the late and legendary Sivaji Ganesan’s residence) after the crew took ‘special permission’ from Producers’ Council to shoot ‘urgently’.

At a time Vijay’s fans were gearing up to hear him singing his first-ever song in Oscar-award winning A.R. Rahman’s music, here comes the confirmation that the music director had no idea whatsoever to make Vijay sing in his music.

Vijay’s fans were hoping that the proposed song would become the super-hit song of the year but it is now confirmed that Vijay won’t sing at all in the film!
