It is rumoured that music director-turned-hero G.V. Prakash Kumar has been ‘sounded’ by Bollywood film-maker Anurag Kashyap to ‘be ready’ to star soon in a Hindi film.
G.V. Prakash Kumar was lauded by critics and movie-goers for his depiction of a simpleton’s character in director Bala’s latest directorial venture Naachiyaar which released in theatres a few weeks back. Protagonist Jyothika’s cop act and G.V. Prakash Kumar’s performance have been appreciated by critics and fans alike.
Busy with projects such as Aingaran, 4G, Adangathay, Semma, Kuppaththu Raja, 100% Kaadhal and Sarvam Thaalamayam, G.V. Prakash Kumar’s performance in Naachiyaar appears to have caught the attention of Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap (who plays a prominent role in Nayantara’s Imaikkaa Nodigal) which is to release soon.
“Why can’t we make a Hindi film and how about your call-sheet dates for the same?” Kashyap has reportedly sounded the music director-turned-hero who is over the moon at the unbelievable offer to star in a Bollywood film. The actor has assured the film-maker that he would soon make himself available for the Hindi film shoot after wrapping up his pending projects.
