‘Melody prince’ Harris Jayaraj is all set to join hands with K.V. Anand, one of his favourite film-makers, to score the music of the latter’s upcoming untitled film to star Suriya in the lead.
Cinematographer-turned-director Anand, who started off as a still photographer with the popular journal The Illustrated Weekly of India (which is no more in circulation), had made films such as Ayan and Maattrraan with Suriya in the past. While Ayan did very well with Suriya and Tamannaah in the lead, Maattrraan with Suriya and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead didn’t do a rollicking business at the box-office.
Lyka Productions would be producing the third film which brings Suriya and Anand together and which hasn’t been titled yet. Anand has informed via his Twitter account that Harris Jayaraj would be scoring the film’s music. Suriya, who is presently starring in Selvaraghavan’s NGK, is likely to start work in Anand’s film soon after wrapping up the shoot of NGK.
Garvemic U Aary would be the film’s cinematographer while Kiran would be the art director. The heroine to star opposite Suriya in what would be the 37th film in his career hasn’t yet been decided.
