Actress Rambha, who turns 40 in June this year but looks younger for her age, got married to Canada-based industrialist Indiran in 2010 and has two daughters, aged 7 and 3. The actress is said to have expressed her desire to make a comeback in films.
Rambha, who did a ‘Marilyn Monroe’ kind of ‘skirting’ in Ullathai Allitha (1996) which her debut film as heroine in Tamil, went on to star opposite the likes of superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith Kumar, etc. before she got married. She had a tiff with her husband after which she filed for divorce in 2012 but later reconciled with him and is leading a peaceful matrimonial life.
Apparently inspired by the success achieved by actresses such as Manju Warrier (in Mollywood), Jyothika (in Kollywood) and Vidya Balan (in Bollywood) post their marriages, Rambha too wants to try out her luck in films. In order to get film offers (sure not as a heroine!), she has also hit hard at the gym and acquired a slim frame.
She is now all set to make her comeback in Telugu film with a comic venture which stars comedian Sapthagiri in the lead.
Any takers for her in Kollywood?
