Bollywood’s Kollywood-bound adult-star-turned-actress Sunny Leone is said to have started learning Tamil so that she doesn’t feel awkward while filming sequences of her debut film (as heroine) Veeramadevi in Tamil.
As reported earlier, Thambi Vettothi Sundaram fame Vaduvudaiyaan is penning the story, screenplay and dialogues besides directing Veeramadevi, a period film which stars the 36-year old stunning-looking actress in the lead. Sunny’s regular work-outs and exercises have helped her stay slim and keep away from showing signs of ageing. Sunny had earlier danced for an ‘item number’ in Jai-Swathi’s Vadacurry.
She plays a warrior princess in Veeramadevi for which she has given a 150-day non-stop schedule of call-sheet. She is also learning sword-fighting and horse-riding to suit her on-screen character. Sunny, who hardly speaks Hindi in al her films, is a Punjabi by birth but is very fluent in English than in other languages. However, she is now making it a point to learn spoken Tamil and is taking Tamil classes.
Film’s crew says the crew members are amazed at the interest shown by the former pornstar in learning Tamil. It’s time for frontline Tamil heroines to be wary of; for the record, Veeramadevi also has Navdeep and Nassar in prominent roles!
