Television anchor-turned-actor Sivakarthikeyan has thanked his fans, well-wishers, friends, relatives and everyone associated with the entertainment industry for helping him complete six successful years in Kollywood during when he had become one of the top five heroes along with Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and Vijay Sethupathi.
The actor, who turns 33 in a few days’ time, has tweeted on his Twitter account thanking all for completing six years in films on last Saturday (03rd February) as it was on this day in 2012 that his debut film and the Pandiraj-directed Marina hit the screens. Sivakarthikeyan’s growth as a frontline hero in just six years is viewed by critics as nothing short of ‘phenomenal’.
For some reasons, Sivakarthikeyan’s acting style has come to be loved by kids and students, which he feels is a ‘gift of God’. Of late, those who try their luck from small screen to big screen have Sivakarthikeyan as their ‘role model’ which is a credit to the determination with which the former television anchor had turned himself fit for taking on variety of roles on big screen. Here’s Sivakarthiyen’s ‘thank you’ tweet:
“Thanks is just a word…the journey of six years began because of you..my job is to work hard, deliver good entertainers and to be a good human…sure will try my best to do that…loads of thanks to my brothers, sisters, well-wishers, directors, producers, co-artistes, music directors, all technicians, press, media, distributors, theatre-owners, all stars’ fans and cinema audiences for your continuous support….love you all!”
