Sai Pallavi, the Kothagiri-born Tamil girl who has become the ‘dream-girl’ of millions of youths speaking Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages, has made her mad Tamil fans wait for two more weeks before they could get to watch her in a direct Tamil film.
Sai Pallavi’s role of ‘Malar’ in the super-duper Malayalam hit film Premam (2015) earned her quite a few Tamil and Telugu films. She is now making her debut in Tamil films with director Vijay’s Karu. The talented and beautiful Sai Pallavi plays the female protagonist in the film as she takes up the role of the mother of a four-year old girl in a heroine-oriented script.
Sai also plays Suriya and Dhanush’s heroines in their upcoming films. However, it would be Vijay’s Karu which is to release first in theatres. The earlier date of February 09 fixed for the film’s release has now been postponed by two weeks, sources close to the film’s crew say.
Produced by Lyka Productions and cinematographed by Neerav Shah, Karu has music by Sam C.S. Some last-minute hitches have resulted in the postponement in the film’s release which is now expected to release on 23rd February instead of on 09th February, making the wait longer by two more weeks for Sai Pallavi’s die-hard fans!
