Director Ramanan Madesh has lavished praise on his heroine Trisha’s performance in his upcoming horror-thriller Mohini.
“Mohini is clearly a ‘huge film’ as compared to my few films in the past. Trisha has essayed the hero(ine) in this film. She has put in an admirable performance and to my surprise, fared well in stunt sequences too. The film would be loved by her fans as well as all sections of the audiences as it has all the ingredients which people expect in a film. Almost 80% of the film’s sequences have been shot in scenic locales abroad.
“It’s a very different kind of ‘horror’ film and has plenty of visual treats to keep the audiences interested in the proceedings. I’m utterly satisfied about the final product and the way the film has shaped. The film’s script is based on a real-life incident for sure. Each of the audiences can identify himself/herself with certain characters they would get to watch in the film,” Madesh concluded.
Bollywood’s Jackky Bhagnani makes his debut as hero in Tamil films with Mohini which has Suresh, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Swaminathan and Haarthi Ganesh in lead roles. “The film’s songs have come out really well; the recently-released trailer of the film was well-received by the audiences. I hope the film meets with the same response in theatres when it hits the screens soon,” concluded Madesh.
