After the multi-faceted national award-winning Prakash Raj essayed the role of the ‘Almighty’ in director Chimbu Deven’s 2008 hit film Arai En 305-il Kadavul, it is now the turn of actor-script-writer-producer-director K. Bhagyaraj to play ‘God’ in an upcoming film titled as Brahma.com.
Nakul and Aashna Zaveri (remember her in Santhanam’s Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham?) play the lead roles in the film which has the sizzling Bollywood actress-turned-martial arts expert Neetu Chandra in a prominent role. P.S. Vijayakumar is the debutant director of the film who reveals what the script has to offer.
“If Almighty gives everything the man desires, there won’t be peace filling his mind; instead, he would find himself in more trouble than before,” says the director and adds that while Nakul plays the ‘man’ in the film, K. Bhagyaraj has essayed ‘God’. “It’s a film which looks into the ‘differences of opinion’ between a man and his creator, the Almighty,” adds Vijayakumar.
Siddharth Vipin, the music director of Idharkuthaane Asaipattai Balakumara fame plays a prominent role in the film which has ‘Mottai’ Rajendran, Kausalya, Jagan and Upasana in significant roles. The film is to release in theatres this Friday (15th December).
