Actor-politician Napolen, who has sort of returned to Tamil films recently, would soon be making his debut in a Hollywood film to be produced by a Trichy-based Tamil.
Napoleon, who is known for his village-based scripts such as Ettupatti Rasa and Seevalaperi Pandi in the nineties, runs a successful business in U.S. and takes time off to come to India and fulfill his film commitments. The film Napoleon has been approached to star in is titled as Devil’s Night: Dawn of The Nain Rouge and produced by Trichy-based Ganesh, who runs a software company in U.S. and happens to be Napoleon’s friend.
Sam Logan Khalegi, an Emmy Awards nominee, would be directing the film which has Napoleon essaying a museum curator’s role. “I made it clear to my friend that I can’t speak in English fluently but he still insisted that I should be part of the film,” says Napoleon, who sports a pair of specs of late.
“I shot for some portions of the film in October and would be shooting again for the film in January,” adds Napolen. Popular playback singer Devan Ekambaram would be making his debut as music director with this film.
