Aishwarya Rai, the 44-year old (still enchanting) beauty of Bollywood, recently burst into tears when her repeated requests to photographers not to take photos fell on deaf ears.
The actress, who had acted in quite a few Tamil films, the most notable of them being Enthiran: The Robot (2010) with superstar Rajinikanth, celebrated the sixth birthday of her only daughter Aaradhya to which she had invited a select band of Bollywood VIPs and celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and the lanky Shilpa Shetty, the actress with a seemingly never-ending pair of legs!
She visited an NGO ‘Smile Train Foundation’ to help the medical treatment of 100 girl children who had chopped/broken lips. News about Ash’s visit to the NGO had spread like wildfire and there was a posse of photographers by the time she reached the spot. The children felt uncomfortable facing arclights and the constant glitter caused by the lensmen’s cameras.
Aishwarya spotted it immediately and requested the lensmen repeatedly not to take snaps. Even as the photographers continued to take photos neglecting her request, she burst into tears telling strongly that it wasn’t a film-related event where they had to keep shooting photos.
