It is reported that actor Vijay would be essaying a middle-aged man’s character in his next film.
After the success of his latest film Mersal, Vijay has committed to star in producer-director A.R. Murugadoss’ next directorial venture. Vijay and Murugadoss had earlier combined to make two hit films in Thuppakki and Kaththi and as such, expectations from their fans are sky-high about their joint venture for the third time.
To be the 62nd film in Vijay’s more than two-decade long career, it is said that the script of the film is to deal with farmers’ issues, much like Kaththi. Vijay is to play dual roles in the film and one of those roles would be that of a middle-aged man’s role, something that Vijay hadn’t attempted in any of his films so far.
Murugadoss badly needs a hit film as his last two directorial ventures in Akira and Spyder weren’t super-successes at the box-office.
