Insiders in the industry say that Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi’s crime action thriller has been censored with ‘A’ certificate. The film’s producer Y Not Studios’ Sashikanth has approached the revising committee to get UA certificate and thus, there is an uncertainty over the July 7th release plan of the film.
Pushkar Gayathri duo has directed Vikram Vedha, which is based on the ancient Vikramaditya Vedala stories. Madhavan plays a badass cop Vikram in the film and Vijay Sethupathi plays a deadly gangster Vedha.
The film also has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Kirumi Kathir and Shraddha Srinath in key characters. A certified films are not preferred by TV channels so the makers are trying their best to get UA certificate.
