Suchitra feigns no knowledge about ‘Suchileaks’; blames hackers

Playback singer Suchitra Krishnamurthy has said that whatever was revealed in the name of ‘#Suchileaks#’ a few backs happened without her knowledge as her Twitter account had been backed by some miscreants.

Photos/videos of celebrities were posted on Suchitra’s Twitter account, embarrassing the concerned individuals to a huge extent. Suchitra’s posting (which she claims now were not done by her) claimed that she would be revealing the ‘other sides’ of many personalities who enjoyed an otherwise clean image.

Speaking to a popular English daily, Suchitra said “I have been feeling bad about the disturbances caused to my family, friends and others in the industry because of the postings on my Twitter account which was hacked by some miscreants who posted things at will. It was only on 19th February that I realized that my account had been hacked and photos/videos/postings appeared in the name of ‘#Suchileaks#’.

“I got in touch with Twitter India’s president and blocked my account and later lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Branch of the Police. Things became normal only on 02nd March. I feel ashamed for whatever appeared in my Twitter account and I want to make it clear that I had nothing to do with those postings. I tender sincere apologies to those who might have felt bad by them,” Suchitra said.
