Feels shy in starring in romantic/lip-lock sequences: Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal Aggarwal has said that she had always felt ‘shy and awkward’ in starring in romantic sequences (donning skimpy costumes and getting close to the hero) and in locking lips with her co-star(s).

Kajal’s lip-lock sequence with Tollywood’s Mahesh Babu in The Businessman (2011) remains one of the ‘hottest’ lip-lock sequences ever shot in Telugu films.

She also locked lips with co-star Randeep Hooda in last year’s Hindi film Do Lafson Ki Kahani. The much-in-demand actress plays Ajith’s heroine in Vivegam and as one of the three heroines in Vijay’s Atlee-directed untitled venture.

Kajal doesn’t bother about starring opposite middle-aged or aged heroes as she played Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi’s heroine in his latest hit film Khaidi No.150. Ironically enough, she had also played his son Ram Charan Teja’s love-interest in a couple of films!

“Of late, intimate romantic sequences and lip-lock sequences have become the order of the day. Neither the actresses concerned nor the audiences seem to feel awkward about it.

However, I have always felt very odd to star in those sequences which require(d) me to don minimum costume and get up close to the hero and hug him. Lip-lock sequences are the toughest as kiss has to be done in front of huge on-lookers and crew-members,” Kajal says.
