Jayam Ravi and Hansika’s producer aims for Guiness Record

Bharatha Nattiyam is one of our iconic ancient dance form, which originated in Tamilnadu and adds a lot of value to India’s rich cultural heritage on the global stage in a big way.

Dancers of classical group Bharatham 5000 has announced to attempt a Guinness world record with this divine art form here in Chennai.

To promote this ancient art form on the global platform and to make awareness among the younger generation, the team has arranged for a mega dance event.

On April 14th The Tamil New Year day by 5.00 pm, around 5000 Bharatha Nattiyam artists will gather at VEL’S University which belongs to the Bogan producer Isari Ganesh, and perform in unison.

Choreographed by renowned artist Shri. Adhirsta Balan, the dancers will perform to a 26-minute song based on 30 verses from THIRUKKURAL. An audio/visual demo CD will also be provided to the participants to practice in advance.
