In one of the recent posters of Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai, the film’s designer Gopi Prasanna has used Bharathiyar’s script. In fact, the phrase Kaatru Veliyidai itself is taken from one of the poems of Bharathiyar.
A source in the know says “The writing behind the poster is the hand writing of Mahakavi Bharathiyar. Gopi has learnt how to write like that based on his other scripts, he used similar alphabets and made this poster.
It’s like a super 3 weeks effort and people who knew Bharathiyar handwriting called him in surprise to find out how he got the script right”.
Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari playing the lead roles in the film, which will be releasing on April 7.
