Girls should think deep and hard before entering films: Ileana

Actress Ileana D’Cruz, the picture-perfect actress who possesses an amazing figure despite being in her early thirties, has a word of caution to all wannabe actresses.

Ileana, who started off as an actress in Tollywood, starred only in two Tamil films including Shankar’s Nanban, moved to Bollywood where she remains settled for the past few years. Though she isn’t busy with many projects on hand, she continues to remain in Mumbai as she makes all-out efforts to bag new film projects.

“Films are my lifeline, no doubt; however, my heart tells my mind not get ‘dissolved’ in the world of films. I want to listen to what my heart says and won’t depend on films for (earning) my livelihood for my entire life. I have seen many young girls and aspiring actresses, who had shunned everything with the dream of making it big in films, suffering later due to lack of planning.

“I have matured a lot after watching things like this. I’d star in films if I get offers; if I don’t get much offers, I won’t lose heart. I have had a successful career for more than a decade in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films and feels contented. I don’t feel ashamed to say that I have entered the thirties. Age is, after all, just a number and I feel flattered when I’m told that I look 23 and not 30,” concludes Ileana.
