Oscar-award winning sound designer Resul Pookutty has expressed his surprise at the speed with which superstar Rajinikanth dubbed for a few reels of his upcoming Shankar-directed 2.0.
Directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions at a whopping cost of more than Rs.400 crores, the Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar-Amy Jackson starrer 2.0 is the sequel to the 2010 super-duper hit film Enthiran: The Robot. A.R. Rahman scores the music of the film whose shoot has been going on at a hectic pace.
However, dubbing work has also commenced for the portions shot so far. Resul Pookutty is coordinating the dubbing sessions. Rajini, who started dubbing for his portions on Monday (26th December), is said to have completed 3 reels in just a day’s time. Usually, it takes 4-5 days for any actor/actresses to complete this work.
Tweeting on his Twitter account, Resul said “Nothing can match the commitment and dedication of our Thalaivar superstar Rajinikanth; he has completed three reels of dubbing in just a day’s time and I’m amazed at the speed with which he works!”
