Music director-turned-hero G.V. Prakash Kumar happens to be one of the busiest heroes in Kollywood and has as many as 4-5 films on hands excluding Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru which released in theatres yesterday.
Reports say that M. Rajesh-directed Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru has started off very well. Keeping his music assignments intact, G.V. Prakash Kumar is said to have taken advance from 3-4 producers to star in their films which would be directed by Sasi, Pandiraj and Rajiv Menon.
Adangathay, one of his upcoming films, has him rubbing shoulders against the still-muscular Sarathkumar who plays a prominent role in the film. The film’s shoot is being held in New Delhi. Prakash Kumar’s next film would be directed by Rambala, who directed Santhanam in his recent hit film Dhillukku Dhuttu.
Vadivelu, on a comeback trail in Kollywood, has been signed up to play a significant role in the film which brings him on screen with Prakash Kumar for the first time. Vadivelu’s character in the film is said to be a comic villain. Further details are awaited.
