Originally slated to hits screens on July 7th, Kabali was postponed to July 15th and the team officially confirmed it to overseas distributors long back. Now, reliable sources say Kabali has been postpone again to July 22nd.
The makers are still waiting for the censor formalities to be done and the upcoming week will be crucial for Kalaipuli S Thanu to ready the final copy. There are also reports that Jaya TV has bagged the film’s satellite rights for a whopping deal.
The TN theatrical rights have been acquired by Jazz Cinemas, a recently floated distribution house which is known for its proximity to the ruling party in the state. Meanwhile, Santhanam’s Dhilluku Dhuddu is gearing up for release on July 7th for the EID festival if at all Kabali gets postponed.
