She has had three big releases in the past four months, starting with Thanga Magan opposite Dhanush in last December, Gethu opposite Udhayanidhi in January and Theri opposite Vijay on Tamil New Year Day.

She is now all set to re-join the shoot of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film 2.0 directed by Shankar and produced by Lyka Productions at a never-before cost of Rs.350 crores. A.R. Rahman scores the music, author Jayamohan pens the dialogues, Nirav Shah cinematographs t he film while Oscar-winner Resul Pookkutty is also part of the film.

Exuding happiness on being part of Rajini’s 2.0, Jackson said “Last week, action sequences involving Rajini Sir and Akshay Kumar were shot. I have had wonderful experience during the making of the film and would be re-joining the crew for my next schedule of shoot from May. I’m not playing a female robot in the film.

“I have always admired and wondered Rajini’s acting skills and I’m also a fan of Vijay. Getting to star opposite these two simultaneously has shocked me and I feel truly ‘blessed’ by the Almighty,” says Amy.
