Anandhi blames Adhik for ‘damaging’ her image in Trisha Illana Nayanthara

Kayal-AnandhiThe war of words continued between actress Anandhi and debutant director Adhik Ravichandran as the actress, who has played one of the two heroines along with Manisha Yadav in the recently-released Trisha Illana Nayanthara, has blamed the latter for ‘damaging’ her girl-next-door image by compelling her to star in sequences in which she wouldn’t have starred otherwise.

Trisha Illana Nayanthara has released last Thursday with an ‘A’ certificate for its double-meaning dialogues and also for the lip-lock sequences between the heroines and the lucky hero (music director G.V. Prakash Kumar, of course!).

Thought the film has opened to huge response among youths in its first few days, critivs have written off the film saying it was a ‘trash’.

“Adhik didn’t shoot the film with the script that he had initially narrated to me. When I found that the script and dialogues were deviating from what I was narrated earlier, I asked him what was going on to which he gave an evasive reply.

Initially, he said he would be the principal heroine and that he would add another heroine for a minor role but in the publicity promos, he showed as if we were having equal roles in the film.

“My roles in Kayal and Chandi Veeran were decent and were of the girl-next-door kind; however, Adhik has dented my image of a ‘homely’ girl with the way he has depicted me in Trisha Illana Nayanthara which caused stress in me.

He even used abusive language when I insisted on knowing the reason,” Anandhi says even as Adhik is yet to respond.
