If sources are to be believed, Prakash Raj and Kishore play antagonist roles in Kamal Haasan’s nocturnal thriller Thoongavanam which went on floors two days back in Hyderabad.
The film narrates the story of a cop who goes on a rescue mission in a single night. Earlier, the team planned to shoot a major portion of the film in Mauritius but due to logistics issue, they decided to shoot in Chennai and Hyderabad and film a minor part in Mauritius.
Produced by Raajkamal Films International, Thoongavanam, featuring Trisha Krishnan in a never-seen-before role, is directed by debutant Rajesh M Selvam, a long-time assistant of Kamal Haasan. It has music scored by Ghibran.
