Anushka-in-Bahubali-MovieThe release in theatres of Anushka’s mega-budget multi-starrer Tamil-Telugu bilingual Baahubali (made in two parts) directed by S.S. Rajamouli has been postponed by a couple of months. The makers, who had earlier planned to release the film as a summer treat in May, have now said that the film be releasing in theatres only during mid-July.

Reports said at the time of the announcement of the launch of the film in 2013 that it would be dubbed in English, Hindi, Malayalam and many foreign languages at the time of its release in theatres. Besides Anushka, those who play lead roles in the film are Prabhas, Tamannaah, Rana Daggubati, Sudeep, Nassar, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Advi Sesh and Baba Sehgal.

The period-type venture is produced by Arka Media Works at a huge cost. Music has been scored by M.M. Keeravani while national award-winner Sabu Cyril has taken care of the editor’s assignment.

The film’s shoot was recently wrapped up and even as fans are waiting to watch the film on big-screen on 15th May, it has now been announced that the film’s release has been postponed by two months to release in July.

“We were to release the first part of Baahubali in May. However, as the post-production work is taking long time, we have postponed the film’s release to July. An official trailer of the film would be released on 31st May,” Rajamouli has said in a video-message. The Tamil version of the film has been titled as Mahaabali.
