Kamal Haasan has said that he has prepared a ‘hi-fi’ trailer of his upcoming film Uttama Villain which he plans to release soon.
Starring Kamal Haasan, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Parvathy Nair in lead roles, Uttama Villain has been directed by Ramesh Aravind, Kamal’s friend and co-star of many films.
Aravind, who has directed a few films in Kannada, makes his debut as direcor in Kollywood with Uttama Villain which has been in the making for the past many months.
The highlight of the film has become the cameo essayed by the late and legendary film-maker K. Balachander who incidentally played a huge role in shaping the careers of both Kamal Haasan and Ramesh Aravind. Some time back, Aravind had emotionally recalled his initial days in Kollywood and how K. Balachander helped him gain a foothold in Tamil films. Kamal had been in U.S. to look after the post-production work of the film.
Kamal returned to Chennai a few days back. “The re-recording and background score work have been wrapped up in Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. We have also made a ‘hi-fi’ trailer which we plan to release soon,” Kamal informs.
