Shruti Haasan has gone on record stating that unlike her parents, she didn’t want to get caught into the ‘social restrictions’ and would love to become the mother of a child without formally getting married.
The actress, who has been having a great time for the past few years, is in demand among the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film-makers. The multi-faceted Shruti, who sings, pens lyrics and composes music, had also scored the music of her father Kamal Haasan’s Unnaipol Oruvan in 2009. She is presently starring in a solitary Tamil film titled Poojai opposite Vishal in the latter’s home-production directed by Hari.
Speaking to a private television channel recently, Shruti said “I had watched from close quarters the lovely matrimonial life led by my father and my mother when they remained together as a pair.
We were a happy family. However, I don’t want to get caught in the many social restrictions which tied my parents. I would love to remain a free bird. I want to give birth to a child before marriage and would decide about getting married only at a later stage!”
Shruti’s open talk about motherhood has taken many of her fans and industry folks by surprise!
