Ever since his directorial debut in ‘Chithiram Pesuthadi’, Mysskin is one name to look forward to, for an out-of-the-box project. Further to his off-beat ideas, he always vests his interests in budding young talents and is not one to hesitate investing in a talent brand new to the cine arena, in each one of his projects.
This trend can be observed in his choice of composers for each of his films. In ‘Chithiram Pesuthadi’, Mysskin introduced Sundar C Babu, who later worked on Mysskin’s yet another project, ‘Anjathe’. Composer K is also Mysskin’s find, who debuted in ‘Yuddham Sei’ and worked on ‘Mugamoodi’ too.
The latest of his releases, ‘Onaayum Aattukuttiyum’ sported a very unique album of ten tracks entirely instrumental alone, composed by Isaignani Ilayaraja, who has already worked with Mysskin in ‘Nandalala’. The director’s next project in the paranormal story ‘Pisasu’ which comes under director Bala’s B Productions banner.
Further to the cast of new-comers – with ‘Aadhalaal Kadhal Seiveer’ hero Santhosh Ramesh’s younger brother playing the protagonist, the crew also has a new composer for K-town. The young talent Arul has been jointly re-christened Arol Curoli, by Mysskin and Ilayaraja, after the famous talented Italian violinist.
