Director A.R.Murugadoss who is busy promoting his upcoming Bollywood flick ‘Holiday’ the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Thuppakki’ that is scheduled to release this weekend, met the press yesterday.
To a question about Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar with who he has worked with, the ‘Ramana’ director said that Aamir is 100% workaholic who does his work like a bad habit. Akshay is equally serious in hiw work but has a fun side in him. He is always relaxed and cool which brings positive vibe in the sets.
The director added that down south he likes working with Vijay whose comic timing and acting have attracted him.
Murugadoss mentioned the names of Rober De Niro, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan as his favourite reel life heroes and cited his late father who stood by and supported his dream of becoming a filmmaker, as his real life hero.
Murugadoss has recalled that his father has always encouraged his dream to become a filmmaker and also went to meet producers on his own to get him an opportunity.
He will travel many kilometers just to see his son’s name appearing as Assitant director in silverscreen. However Murugadoss’s father who died in 1997, could not watch the first film directed by Murugadoss which released in 2001.
