Actor Atharvaa who is acting in three films ‘Irumbukuthirai’, ‘Eetti’ and ‘Kanidhan’ is taking all efforts to ensure that he fits the character he plays in every film.
The who proved his acting capabilities with ace director Bala’s ‘Paradesi’ has underwent a 18 day crash course for bike stunts in Italy for his role as a biker in ‘Irumbukuthirai’. Now we have learnt that he has got trained under popular athlete Nagarajan for three months on the tracks, to perform the role of an athlete in ‘Eetti’.
Nagarajan has coached some of the accomplished sportspersons like Kumaravel Premkumar, a national record-holder in both indoor and outdoor long jump and who has won medals at the Asian Athletics Championships.
Ravi Arasu the director of ‘Eetti’ that has Sridviya as the female lead confirms the news. The director reveals that Atharvaa wanted to have the stamina of an athlete before the shooting started.
He made it a practice to train on the tracks from five to eight in the morning at the sports academy in Parry’s corner, Chennai. The debutante director has also mentioned that Atharvaa was particular about sporting a runner’s leg and also developed six packs for his role in the film.
Meanwhile the next schedule of ‘Eetti’ is expected to begin in the month of June.
