The shoot of Shankar’s magnum opus I is likely to be wrapped up in the next couple of weeks. Sources close to the producer-director say that the film may be hitting the screens on 14th April ,the Tamil New Year day.
Shankar has been leaving no stone unturned in order to ensure that his I turns out to be as grand as possible in every way. Vikram and Amy Jackson have been paired opposite each other in this film which has Santhanam taking care of the comedy portions. V. Ravichandran of Ascar Movies is producing the film.
Vikram, who has undergone self-penance to unimaginable extents in the past in order to make himself look appropriate for the roles he portrayed on-screen, is said to have thinned to an unbelievable form for one of his appearances in the film. A couple of hollywood make-up expert have rendered great help to him in this regard, it is informed.
A.R. Rahman has scored as many as six songs in the film which have come out very well. The film also marks the first film of popular and award-winning cinematographer P.C. Sriram with Shankar. The shooting schedule is proceeding in a brisk manner and the film might be hitting the sceens on 14th April, the crew informs.
