Notwithstanding the fact that her latest Deepavali release All in All Azhagu Raja didn’t scorch the box-office with its collections, the picture-perfect Kajal Aggarwal has landed up another biggie in her kitty.
Kajal played Karthi’s heroine in M. Rajesh’s All in All Azhagu Raja which hit the screens on Deepavali a couple of weeks ago. The film didn’t add to Rajesh’s enviable list of hit films and drew flak from many quarters.
Heroines hardly take the blame for the failure of their films and Kajal Aggarwal is paired up opposite Vijay in his Pongal release Jilla which is being directed by Nesan.
Vetrimaaran, who made the national award-winning Aadukalam with Dhanush in the lead and which fetched the latter the national award for ‘best actor’, is likely to make his third film as director with Dhanush in the lead. The film is likely to go to the floor in early next year for which Vetrimaaran has finalized Manisha Yadav as the heroine.
Kajal was reportedly the first-choice of debutant Vetrimaaran when he made the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Poladhavan which eventually had Divya Spandana as the heroine. Kajal is now mighty excited to pair up opposite Dhanush in his next film with Siraj who made films such as Padikkadhavan and Maapillai.
