The actor who shot to fame as villain from his expert performance in ‘Kaakka Kaakka’, got a winning ticket as hero through the film ‘Thiruttu Payale’ and reached the peak of fame through his remake project ‘Naan Avan Illai’. Unfortunately, Jeevan’s luck fell flat after thi2007 flick, despite efforts by director Selva to bring out a sequel of his previous project, and releasing ‘Naan Avan Illai 2’ in 2009.
The vexed actor left the film industry and fled to America, desisting from acting in any movies henceforth. However, director Selva has brought the actor back to town once again, for his next project ‘Vendru Vaa’. Produced by Vishwas Sundar, the film, Selva claims, is based on the fictitious story of a simple and staid man, who unknowingly gets into horrific trouble, and the tale of his escape. Daughter of Sandalwood actress Jayamala, Soundarya will do the role of lead lady in this film, which is go on the floors shortly. Director Selva is optimistic about revoking Jeevan’s successful career, and putting him back on the big screen with pride.
