Sana Khan pins comeback hopes on Oru Nadigayin Diary

Sana-Khan_1Sizzling Sana Khan, the Mumbai-based model who debuted as heroine in Kollywood with Simbu’s Silambattam, is pinning lots of hopes on her upcoming film Oru Nadigayin Diary. Though Oru Nadigayin Diary is the Tamil-dubbed version of the original Malayalam film Climax, Sana hopes it would propel her stardom in Tamil films.

Sana’s interest in the film’s box-office outing was displayed when she made it to the audio-launch of the Tamil version held recently. Sana, who was one of the early birds to attend the event, was spotted at the venue long after the event was over, answering scribes’ questions and talking to friends.

Sitting under the hot rays of the Sun and under the shade of a tree, Sana had an assistant fanning her, thereby providing her temporary respite from the Sun. Oru Nadigayin Diary is the celluloid story of ‘Silk’ Smitha, the irrepressible ‘item girl’ of Tamil films in the eighties and nineties who also sizzled as a frontline heroine by starring opposite almost all the leading heroes of her times.

“As far as the film is concerned, I love Smitha’s attitude and I feel her demise is a great loss to the entire industry!” says Sana. Insiders say Sana has put in a tremendous performance as Smitha and might end up bagging more offers in Tamil and Malayalam.
