When a film has the brand ‘A.R. Rahman’ included, it’s obvious that the film is going to make big in places. Especially for a Manirathnam film, the result remains visibly clear even prior to its shooting would commence.
After a span of two years from the release of Shankar’s ‘Endhiran’, A.R. Rahman is back in K-town generating huge waves with Manirathnam’s ‘Kadal’. Last week, a single track album featuring Shakthisree Gopalan’s ‘Nenjukulle’ was released that witnessed huge response.
Today, the producers have released another track titled ‘Elay Keechan’ that is crooned by A.R. Rahman. It’s a peppy song that sounds like the introduction of Gautham Karthik with Javed Ali joining Rahman in the track at few places. Not to miss the fact that the song has been composed in Country and Western style with a mix of south style folk style.
Madhan Karky has penned lyrics for the songs and the sound mixing is very well done.
