Prasanna looks forward with hope to his Muran

Actor Prasanna turned 29 recently. The actor has seen it all in his career spanning just over seven years. Prasanna got his first break when Susi Ganesan hunted for new faces through Star Vijay channel for ‘Five Star’. Prasanna debuted in this film along with a horde of newcomers but toiled for some time searching for his ‘big break’.

Prasanna got his much-needed break in ‘Mozhi’ fame Radhamohan’s ‘Azhagiya Theeye’ which showcased to the public what a fine actor he could be. He then surprised everybody by playing to perfection a ‘negative role’ in director Mysskin’s ‘Anjathay’. He also played a significant role in last year’s ‘Baana Kathadi’, which had the late Murali’s son Atharva debuting as hero.

Films like ‘Sadhu Mirandaa’ and ‘Naanayam’ followed but despite good screenplays, both the films couldn’t make him find a foothold in Kollywood. In between, there were rumours linking him with Sneha, his co-star in ‘Achamundu Achamundu’, a thriller set in U.S. Prasanna issued many denials stating that Sneha was nothing more than a good ‘co-star’ to him.

Prasanna is, therefore, counting a lot on his upcoming film ‘Muran’ which has Cheran as his co-star. The film, said to be a thriller with a ‘difference’, is likely to be released in a month’s time. Meanwhile, the actor celebrated his birthday be cutting the cake with the crew members of ‘Muran’.
