Feather Touch Entertainment is on a HAT TRICK!
In his new mass avatar, Arun Vijay, in combination with FeatherTouch Entertainment, has churned out two hit flicks: Malai Malai and Maanja Velu. Both movies were targeted at the B and C centres and both hit the bull’s eye. In terms of acting and action, Arun Vijay has proved that he can do both with ease!
Following the success of these two movies, Dr. Mohan and M. Hemanth of FeatherTouch Entertainment have begun work on their next project. Not wanting to go stale in the eyes of the viewer, this time they are making an action thriller starring their blue-eyed boy Arun Vijay.
“We’ve roped in a very young team and decided to target the A centres this time,” gushes Arun. “The direction will be by Magil Thirumeni, Gautham Menon’s former associate. Cinematography will be handled by Sukumar of Mynaa fame. Art direction is by Prabhakar, music by Thaman, lyrics by Thamarai. And for editing we’re going with Praveen and Srikanth. Magil has worked on the script for months together. I loved it the moment he told me. He has a very clear idea about what he wants. There will be no clichéd scenes or characters that you would generally associate with this genre of films. I’m really looking forward to getting started!”
And if you’re wondering who the lovely lead lady is… Well, hold your breath. It’s B-town’s young talent Prachi Desai. The actress has been turning down a number of offers from the South, but informed sources reveal that a hefty sum from FeatherTouch Entertainment and the exciting script from Magil caught her fancy immediately.
“Working with our home banner has its advantages. And this is our third film. Me and my producers are in complete sync. My father-in-law and brother-in-law are in the movie business because of their passion for cinema. Together we are learning the nuances of the trade and with each movie we are getting better at it. They are very supportive and ready to give their everything for a movie. When you love something so much, all the trouble you go through is worth it,” smiles Arun Vijay.
