Padmapriya completes Thamassu

Reigning South Indian actress Padmapriya has completed her portions in the forthcoming Kannada film Thamassu, being directed by Agni Shridhar. She will soon be dubbing for her character in the film.

“I have completed the shooting of Thamassu and I am happy at being a part of this film. I play the role of an advocate who believes in non-violence and following the law. The conflict in the film relates to different perceptions of two different people: a lawyer and a police inspector (Shivrajkumar). The director has written very strong dialogues in these sequences and I plan to deliver them in my voice,” Padmapriya said to a news paper in an interview.

Talking about her Bollywood debut Striker which released a week ago, she said: “I think Striker has received a huge response from YouTube viewers, where it was premiered. I am happy about the feedback on my performance in the film. But I am not sure if I would want to act in Bollywood in the near future. I know Bollywood offers a bigger platform, but it is the South that is providing me challenging roles.” Padmapriya is currently busy with two films: Irambu Kottai Morattu Singam (Tamil) and an untitled Telugu flick.
