Karunanidhi’s novel ‘Suruli Malai’. Meera Jasmine has recently signed Pattinte Palazhi (Malayalam), in which she plays the role of a playback singer.

Pattinte Palazhi, directed by offbeat filmmaker Rajeev Anchal, will feature Jagathi Sreekumar (as Meera Jasmine’s father), Revathy, Manoj K. Jayan and Nedumudi Venu in the lead roles. Apart from these films, she is being considered to play the heroine in a famous Bollywood art house director’s forthcoming film.
