Bharath copies MGR!

Almost every hero in filmdom aspires to reach the heights of popularity, public appreciation and reach that Puratchi Thalaivar MGR achieved. All these ambitious heroes emulate his inspiring heroism on screen.

Many movies have included snapshots and graphics-induced moving images of MGR. In Vijay’s Villu, we saw some romantic scenes being merged with an MGR movie and now it is Bharath’s turn to do his bit to foster the same trend. For a song in his forthcoming Thambikku Intha Ooru, an MGR cutout serves as the song’s backdrop and matching the song’s mood, Bharath is dressed up in a fisherman’s garb (very similar to the doyen’s appearance in his films like Meenava Nanban and Nam Naadu) and pairs up with Silambattam fame Sana Khan. About 60 dancers and over 1000 supporting artists have participated in the particular sequence. The song is choreographed by Dinesh; the film is produced by J. Saravanan and C. Bhaskar for V.K. Media Pvt. Ltd.; it is written and directed by Badri.
