Jak Film Productions’ Thalaiezhuthu’s highlight is not its dazzling star cast or its new-age masala. Keeping very much in line with the title, the film’s realistic tale is about a socially-responsible software engineer who embarks upon a mission to discover a gadget for helping physically challenged people.
Raj is a software engineer who spends all his childhood in a home for the physically challenged, where his mother has a job. After he earns a degree in software engineering, with a compassionate view to help the physically challenged people he has grown up with, Raj invents an equipment that can help the people overcome their physical shortcomings and conveniently complete their daily routines. But just before he makes his invention public, Raj encounters a series of hindrances. What are the hindrances? Who gives him problems and stops him from launching his gadget? Does he succeed in his mission? All these are told in a riveting manner in Thalaiezhuthu.
Thalaiezhuthu is directed by Ethiraj and music is by Godwin. Richard Raj and Pooja Gandhi play the lead roles.
